Our machines are pricey bits of kit running into many thousands, the technology on board is state of the art and we have spent hours injecting air into milk to create that ultimate barista style latte. However, we usually provide them at no cost at all depending on the venue and number of customers. Infact we may even pay you to have them often working on revenue splits with our partners. We do have a range of desktop machines for office blocks working with our partner company Barista 999.

There are a number of factors that we will consider when giving away our machines, largely footfall and the likelihood of making the machine make money for both sides. We provide the equipment, maintence and stock for free so we need to make sure it is viable. HatHats is known for its award winning coffee and premium hot drinks but we can also supply snack machines either as a standalone or as part of a package. Depending on location we are happy to talk through our snack options. We do only supply snack machines on a fully managed service.
Sadly no. When we put our name on anything the drinks would need to match those we sell in our drinks. We are passionate about our blend of coffee and how the drinks are made, and therefore we will only let them be stocked and maintained by our own team or trusted partners. We do have a range of desktop machines we can recommend and you can purchase them through our partners at Barista 999
Even the best technology goes wrong sometimes, however our friendly team are available everyday and will aim to be out with you to look at the machine within 48 hours of it being reported, usually we are there much quicker. We do leave keys and basic instructions with venues and often a fix can be talked through over the phone or remotely from our engineers laptop.
There is no need to bang the side of the machine with our setup like you used to years ago, simply take a picture of the drink or item and call 01227 282 900 leave your details on an answerphone if the on call engineer doesn’t pick up and we will refund the money. If you call during office hours the team maybe able to remotely dispense an item, clever stuff righ?. We would ask when call to have the last 4 digits of your card number ready when you speak to us to help us facilitate your refund.
That’s great because we wouldn’t want you to. We provide a fully maintained services on all our machines, which means we come and restock it, clean it and make sure it is fully compliant. To make sure every drink is using freshly roasted coffee we will be out regularly to maintain it.
Nope, overall our machines are cashless. There are a number of reasons for this, firstly it is safer leaving machines full of cash do tempt break ins and vandalism also coin mechanisms can break easily causing the machine to be out of action. Therefore, all our machines are fitted with Nayax card readers which take all major credit and debit cards including American Express.
Of course you can, whatever reason you would like a receipt for helping keep track of what you are spending to claiming that coffee back on expenses we can provide VAT receipts from most of our machines. A lot of them have receipt buttons where the receipt can be emailed, a few have printers built in. However if you cannot find where to get it that is not an issue simply email togo@hathats.co.uk with the time you visited and the last 4 card details and one of the team will email you one straight away.
Simple answer is yes. We can make you some very clever discount cards which will allow you to give your teams, stakeholders or users discounts, free product up to a set number per day. We get it, your not on here to become rich for the coffee machine your primary focus is to get quality hot drinks at your place. Well we can either take what would be your cut and donate it to an amazing charity like the HatHats Foundation or discount the products to subsidise the machine. Ok lets get down to the money, when we install a machine we will agree a payment frequency and reporting period with you. At the end of every month our finance team will email you a report showing all the sales the machine has made, you then need to invoice us for your share either quarterly or monthly depending on the payment frequency we have agreed with you. At the moment sadly we only operate our HatHats ToGo machines in close proximity to our stores. Why? Well we need to make sure our delivery drivers and teams can stock them easily as part of the a route they make when delivering to our stores. That being said we are growing all the time so keep an eye on the HatHats website for new store openings, if we open one near you then do get in touch!
We both do, we see the machine as a partnership and therefore both sides need to be happy with pricing. Unlike other more traditional vending companies, there are absolutely no management fees, hidden service costs or dreaded minimum usage penalties. We rely solely on machine usage to make our return on investment, so our products must be competitively priced to sell in volume.

No the freestanding machines are the only true HatHats To Go Machines, however we can get similar technology packed into a desktop machine. The best thing to do is call our partners at Barista 999 on 01227 649 009 or email hello@batista999.com and they will be able to advise on the best solution for you. It maybe possible depending on what you are after for us to provide a fully managed service to these machines but the team at Barista 999 will advise.
Yes, our wonderful design team can work with you for onscreen content. Depending on the frequency of changes and what you want the messaging to be there maybe a small charge for this, however like with evertything it is open to discussion. We will never put advertising on your machine without prior agreement. We would include any paid advertising as part of the revenue split with you.
Our engineers will be onsite on the day of your install to programme it and set it all up, we would however need you to provide a plug socket close by and where needed for drinks machines a water supply. Ideally to keep the machines running at their best internet connectivity is handy so our teams can monitor them.
Yes, always. To put is bluntly we only make money when your machine is working and stocked. Our business model works exceptionally well for you this is because if for any reason our machines are not well stocked and maintained we lose our revenue from them so the pressure falls on us.
We will stock the machine regularly, we may ask you to hold a few of the essentials like cups and sugsr for us as it is not always practical for us to get out to replenish these. Depending on how busy the machine is. Our drivers will always have plenty of these on their van to help you replenish if supplies run low.
